SONJA BLAZETIC

Owner, Nail Artist & Certified Master Pedicurist

Sonja was born in Hudson, New York, but moved to DeLand, Florida when she was ten. DeLand is where she considers her home. She became a licensed nail technician in 2008, a skin care specialist in 2009, and a certified master pedicurist in 2013. Sonja's passion lies in caring for those needing specialty foot care, including toenail reconstruction/restorations, curvature correction, and advanced pedicures, focusing on geriatric, diabetic, and oncology clientele. Sonja also specializes in acrylic,  hard, and soft gel applications to extend natural nails and offers gel polish manicures. She is the mother of 4 strong-willed adult daughters and enjoys outdoor photography as a hobby in her spare time.

DANIELLE

Nail Artist

Danielle is a native of the DeLand area, having grown up in Orange City. She has been doing nails for 33 years. She specializes in acrylics and has a passion for pink and white application and nail art. Beautification of hands and feet brings her great joy. She is a mother of 5 amazing children, two fur babies, and a new daughter-in-law and granddaughter. When not making people beautiful, you can find her reading a book, playing GOTC, or spending time with her friends and family.

INESE

Nail Artist

Inese is a current resident of Pierson after leaving the Miami hustle and bustle behind for good. Feeling continuously unsatisfied at her job as an insurance adjuster, she decided to pursue a completely different career path becoming a nail technician. It has been 3 years since that lightbulb moment and she has not looked back. Inese specializes in anything gel; from chip-free manis to hard gel extensions. She loves doing nail art and believes that a fun mani should not be reserved for special occasions. When Inese is not doing nails, she is still watching educational nail videos and scrolling insta for inspiration. She also enjoys reading, the great outdoors with her family, and sweating it out at CrossFit Berzerk.

JORDAN

Nail Artist

Jordan was born in Washington State and moved to Deland, Florida in 2013. She became a licensed full specialist in 2022 and has always been infatuated with the beauty industry. She was seeking to find a career where she could be artistic and help others feel good about themselves. Nails ended up becoming her true passion. In her spare time, she's always invested in some type of hobby whether it be taking pictures, making art, enjoying nature, or hanging out with her two fur babies and husband.

SABRENA

Nail Artist

Sabrena was born and raised in Minnesota and moved to Florida in 2015 to be near her grandparents. She has a massive passion for the beauty and wellness industry. What Sabrena loves most about her career is working with her hands, people, and the ability to be artistic and creative daily. Her favorite things to do are nail art and acrylic encapsulation. When Sabrena is not in the salon, you can find her in a CrossFit gym, spending time with her children, or working her side business, Stoutt Photography.

NATALIE

Nail Artist

Natalie, born and raised in DeLand, Florida, has discovered her passion for nails and specializes in acrylics and pedicures. She loves making people feel beautiful! In her free time, she practices nail art, spends time outdoors with friends and family, and scrolls through social media for inspiration.

MIRNA

Nail Artist

Mirna grew up in St. Augustine but lived out her 20s and mid-30s in Connecticut before recently moving to DeLand. She is a front-end developer with a love for wildlife, art, and self-expression. She believes that nails are more than practical, but another way to accessorize and express yourself. Her specialty is hard gel for a flexible but strong and stain-resistant nail you can live your best life wearing without worry.

JESSICA*

Hair Stylist

Jessica has been a hairstylist in and around DeLand since 2002. She loves doing hair because she believes that a fresh cut or new color can give someone a new perspective about themselves, like so few things can. It’s a wonderful thing to do every day. When she is not working, she loves to be outside whether it be gardening, at the beach, or kayaking with her family and her dog, Arthur. Please text Jessica to make an appointment 386-848-3046.

WHITNEY*

Hair Stylist

Whitney Cayton-Oliverio is a talented and veteran cosmetologist, bringing over 14 years of experience to Simply Irresistible. Whitney previously worked at the nationally renowned Nico Spalon from Morgantown, West Virginia.

Whitney has always had a passion for her work, which continues to show with every client who leaves her chair. Her extensive knowledge of color theory and advanced cutting techniques helps her create new and innovative looks for each client. Her clients consistently compliment Whitney's ability to relate to a client's daily needs and create a style that complements their schedule and lifestyle. 

Whitney is highly proficient in high-end services, including cutting, hair color, smoothing treatments, extensions, formal styling, and airbrush makeup. Continuing her education to bring her clients the industry's most sophisticated and up-to-date services is very important to Whitney. She is certified in many advanced techniques and services, including Keratin Complex Smoothing Artist, a certified Brazilian Blowout Stylist, Hot Head Hand Tied Extensions, Babe Extensions, Devacut methods, and no tension cutting techniques.

She is a Master Colorist and is experienced with various color and product lines, including Schwarzkopf Professional, Pravana, Wella, AlfaParf Milano, Redken, and Keratin Color Therapy, as well as Moroccan Oil, Colorproof, and Milbon. 

Whitney lives in DeLand with her wife, Toni, and two daughters, Cayton and Olivia. She is looking forward to becoming a local community member and is excited to see you in her chair soon.

SHANNON*

Hair Stylist

Shannon grew up in South Florida and relocated to Central Florida about eight years ago. She's married to her wonderful husband, Raymond, and is a mother of two handsome boys, Brayden and Jayce. In her free time, she especially enjoys spending time with her beautiful family and having fun outdoors. 

When asked why she became a hair stylist, she said, "I became a Cosmetologist because I am passionate about helping others to look and feel their absolute best!"

Shannon specializes in hair color especially blondes. She is known for using the latest techniques to achieve your desired results including balayage, color melting, and foil work. Shannon also continuously works to keep up with the latest trends, styles, and techniques.

AIMEE*

Hair Stylist

Aimee has always been captivated by the world's beauty and has a deep respect for nature, which, along with fashion, inspires her creative work. Her journey in the hair industry began at 16 when she started doing pageant hair and makeup for Mona Eagle. Since entering the pageant scene in 2008, she has won the title of Miss Florida three times—in 2013, 2015, and 2019. This passion for beauty led Aimee to beauty school at 18, and by 19, she had graduated with her cosmetology and barbering licenses. She began her professional career in January 2019 and quickly advanced to become the educator and manager of her salon. She is certified in keratin treatments, specializes in textured haircuts, and is a master colorist using Simply Organic products. As Aimee embarks on this new journey, she is committed to making each day a little more beautiful.

DEBBY

Receptionist

Debby is one of the voices you hear when you call the salon. She was born in Jacksonville and moved to Illinois as a teen. She and her husband relocated to DeLand 7 years ago and consider Florida home. She shares her home with 3 pups and a cat.  When not welcoming you in for your appointment, she can be found on the water relaxing and fishing. She also enjoys reading, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and hanging with friends.

LILLY

Receptionist

Lilly has lived in Deland since she was born. When she’s not picking up your phone calls at the salon, she is either at home with her daughter, two dogs, and 3 cats, or she is in school at Daytona State College studying criminal justice to become the next CSI agent. She enjoys spending time with her daughter outdoors or at Target for her weekly trip with her best friend. 

MORGAN

Receptionist

Morgan, unlike many, is a client-turned-receptionist. She started getting her nails done at the young age of 16 and has never stopped. Her interest in the beauty industry stems from her sister who is an incredibly talented nail artist back home in Massachusetts.

Outside of answering your many phone calls, she owns a digital marketing firm, Morgan Social Studio where she strategizes her client's online presence to best represent them to their target audience through social media, email campaigns, and other mediums. Check her out here!

Morgan lives a very full life splitting her time between DeLand and the Bahamas with her wonderful boyfriend, Nick. Besides that, she loves shopping, especially at TJ Maxx, snuggling her two adorable kitties, Spooky and Vixen, and watching tons and tons of movies.

LIZZY

Receptionist

Lizzy is originally from Savannah, GA, but has been in Deland for about 3 years now, attending Stetson University, where she is majoring in Health Science. Lizzy loves to work with people and looks forward to seeing friendly faces around the salon. When she is not at work, Lizzy is usually in class at Stetson, studying with her roommate, or back home visiting her family and two dogs.
