For most clients, we recommend scheduling a professional pedicure every 4–6 weeks to keep your feet and toenails looking and feeling their best.

Regular pedicures do more than keep your polish looking fresh. Routine maintenance helps keep toenails neatly trimmed, smooth rough or dry skin, reduce excess buildup, and maintain the overall appearance and comfort of your feet.

Some clients may benefit from visits every 3–4 weeks, especially if their toenails grow quickly, they experience faster skin buildup, or they prefer to keep their feet consistently maintained. Others may comfortably go 6–8 weeks between appointments.

Gel-X Nail Extensions

Gel-X is a full-coverage soft gel nail extension system that adds instant length while maintaining a lightweight, natural-looking feel. It's a great option for clients who want longer nails without traditional acrylic enhancements. Gel-X offers customizable lengths and shapes to complement your personal style.

Gel-X extensions use pre-shaped, full-coverage soft gel tips that are applied to the natural nails using a specialized gel product and cured under an LED light. They create a smooth, lightweight finish with customizable length, shape, and color. With proper application and care, Gel-X extensions typically last 2–3 weeks before maintenance may be needed.

Yes! At Simply Irresistible, we offer Gel-X fills when the existing extensions are in good condition. Whether a fill or a complete removal and reapplication is recommended depends on the condition of your Gel-X extensions, natural nail growth, and overall nail structure.

Gel-X extensions are traditionally removed and reapplied, but fills may be an option when the existing extensions are securely attached and in good condition. Your nail artist will evaluate your nails to determine the best maintenance approach.

How a Gel-X fill works

During a Gel-X fill, your nail artist may perform the following steps, depending on the condition of your extensions:

Your nail artist evaluates the existing Gel-X extensions and refines the length and shape as needed.

Any areas of lifting are carefully addressed, and compromised product is removed before the fill.

The existing gel polish or nail design is carefully filed down to prepare the extensions for maintenance.

The new natural nail growth near the cuticle is carefully prepared for the fill.

A compatible soft builder or structure gel is applied to fill the new growth area and restore the nail's strength, structure, and balance.

The nail is reshaped and finished with gel polish.

When to Fill vs. Replace

A Gel-X Fill May Be Recommended When:

• The existing Gel-X extensions are securely attached with no significant lifting.
• The structure is still good.
• The client wants approximately the same length/shape.
• It's around the 2–3 week mark.

A New Gel-X Set May Be Recommended When:

• There's significant lifting or separation.
• The existing Gel-X extension is cracked, damaged, or no longer structurally sound.
• The nail has grown out enough that the structure is no longer balanced.
• The client wants a major change in shape or length.
• There are signs of moisture trapped beneath the enhancement.

Overlay vs. Fill — What’s the Difference?

Overlay (New Application on Natural Nails)

An overlay is a nail enhancement applied directly over your natural nails to add strength and structure without adding length. This is typically your initial appointment when starting with hard gel or soft builder gel.

Onyfix is a non-surgical toenail correction system designed to help guide the growth of curved, involuted, or pincer toenails. A specialized composite is applied to the nail to help encourage a more natural growth pattern over time.

Scheduling, Deposits & Cancellation Policy

Appointment Deposits

A 25% deposit is required when booking your appointment and will be applied toward your scheduled service.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

We kindly request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us an opportunity to offer the appointment to another client on our waitlist.

Late Cancellations (Less Than 24 Hours)

A fee of 50% of the scheduled service price may be charged.

No-Shows

A fee of 100% of the scheduled service price may be charged.

Gift Cards

Gift card purchases are non-refundable. However, unused gift card balances may be transferred to another guest.

Retail Product Returns & Exchanges
