Soft Gel Services

Soft Gel — also known as Builder in a Bottle, Structure Gel, or Soak-Off Gel — is ideal for natural nails of short to mid-length. While not designed for long extensions, soft gel adds strength, durability, and flexibility. It’s perfect under gel polish for extra protection.

Gel-X Extensions

Looking for an alternative to acrylic or hard gel extensions? Gel-X is the perfect solution.

What is Gel-X?

Gel-X is a full-coverage soft gel extension that adds instant length while staying thin, natural-feeling, and lightweight. Unlike bulky acrylics, Gel-X tips are pre-formed in your chosen length and shape, then applied using soft gel. They’re strong, flexible, and long-lasting — yet can be soaked off easily with acetone, just like gel polish.

Before You Book

•  First Application: Choose this service if you currently do not have Gel-X or any other nail products on your nails.

•  Removal & Reapply (R&R): If you already have Gel-X on your nails, book this option to remove and reapply a fresh set.

•  Length & Shape: Pricing is based on your chosen length. Shape is included in the service. One gel polish color is included.

•  Changes After Application: Adjustments to length or shape after application will result in an additional charge.

Acrylic Nail Extensions

Acrylic nails are the most well-known type of nail extension — but today, many clients prefer hard gel nails for their flexibility and natural feel (see our Gel Nail Enhancements tab to learn more).

Acrylic nails are created by combining a monomer liquid with a polymer powder, forming a paste that is applied to the natural nail. This can be done as an overlay or with tips/forms to extend length. Once hardened, acrylic nails are durable and typically last 3–4 weeks, with most clients scheduling a fill every 2–3 weeks.

Gel Polish Manicure

A gel polish manicure uses a soft gel formula in polish form, applied as an overlay to your natural nails. The result is a long-lasting, high-shine manicure that typically lasts 2–4 weeks without chipping, peeling, or cracking.

Perfect for those who want durable, glossy nails with minimal maintenance.

Dip Nails

Dip nails are essentially acrylic enhancements with a different adhesive system. They provide strength, durability, and a polished look — but the products used make all the difference.

Why Our Dip System Is Different

We use the Orly Soft Gel Dip System, which is:

•  Made with soft gel resin that absorbs acrylic powder and is cured with an LED lamp.

•  Not porous and has a bit of flexibility, reducing cracking and lifting.

•  Soak-off friendly, unlike hard gels.

•  Hygienic: We custom-dispense powders for each service and never double-dip.

Why Not Traditional Dip?

Traditional dip systems use cyanoacrylate adhesive (similar to super glue) with acrylic powder. An activator hardens the glue, but since the adhesive is porous, it can break down in water and solvents. This may cause cracking and, in some cases, trap moisture under the nail — potentially leading to pseudomonas (“greenies”).

While a traditional salon pedicure focuses on cleaning and beautifying your feet and nails, an Advanced Pedicure goes a step further. This service is designed to help prevent and manage common toenail and skin issues that can cause pain, discomfort, and anxiety.

If you have thickened nails or skin build-up in the nail folds, special care will be taken using an electric file, specialty bits and tools, and professional-grade callus softeners and reducers. Please note that in some cases, more than one appointment may be necessary to fully restore and maintain healthy nails and feet.

Advanced Pedicures are especially recommended for individuals with medical conditions that affect the feet and legs, such as:

A certified Master Pedicurist will customize your service based on your needs, which may include:
